With this collection, you can enjoy highlights from the work of Belgian composer Bert Appermont. The pieces have been carefully selected by the composer himself, who has paid special attention to playability, and has looked for melodies that appeal to a large audience. The melodies have been arranged according to levels of difficulty and are suitable for use in music lessons or for concert performances. The pieces Innocence and Song of Hope have been provided with a second part, so that they can be performed as duets with accompaniment. The book comes with a CD containing a demo version as well as a play-long track for each piece. The piano accompaniments have been provided on the CD as printable PDFs!

The Ethnic Experience

“The Ethnic Experience” is a musical trip around the world, crossing 5 continents: Russia, China, America, Africa and Europe. Each part has its own typical ambiance and character. The sounds we hear range from Russian trepaks, Chinese pentatonic sounds and cowboy music to African rhythms and Spanish temperaments.
This suite was written especially for a versatile line-up. Any line-up with at least 4 musicians can perform the suite! Perfect for playing together in ensembles and for use in the music school!

The Sword in the Stone

For ensemble / youth band

This musical fairy tale takes place during the middle ages in England, at the court of King Arthur and his knights of the round table. Bert Appermont wanted to cast knights, castles, and princesses as the lead role and let young bands and smaller/incomplete ensembles enjoy this rich fantasy.
